A senior supervisor of a private power company was shot dead allegedly by unidentified assailants at his residence in Town area here, police said today.
Two motorcycle-borne assailants barged into the house of R P Singh, a senior site supervisor at a private power company, and shot at him from close range, a police official said.
The injured supervisor was taken to the Sadar hospital where he died, the official said, adding that the motive behind the murder was under investigation.
