Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels' Chairperson Priya Paul has been conferred with the Chevalier de l' Ordre National du Merite (National Order of Merit), a French honour for distinguished civil and military achievements.
The honour is for her significant contribution to strengthening of economic, cultural and commercial links between France and India, the company said in a statement.
The honour was conferred at a private reception hosted by French Ambassador Francois Richier.
Paul said, "I am deeply honoured to receive this award. I accept this on behalf of the Apeejay Surrendra Group as well as The Park Hotels as this is a recognition of our successful relationship and collective effort to build ties between India and France.
