The pro-united Andhra Pradesh employees of the state and others would organise a dharna in New Delhi on February 17 against the proposed division of the state.
The sit-in at Ramlila Maidan is likely to be attended by about 15,000 employees and other united AP supporters. Special trains would be arranged to ferry them to the national capital, Andhra Pradesh Non-Gazetted Officers (APNGOs) Association President P Ashok Babu told reporters in Delhi.
He said they have invited Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu and leaders of other parties like CPI(M) and YSR Congress (YSRCP) to the event.

The association has been spearheading the agitation against the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
Meanwhile, YSR Congress has asked its cadres to observe a bandh tomorrow against the division of the state.
The pro-united Andhra employees also proposed to observe a shutdown tomorrow, when the Telangana Bill is expected to be introduced in Parliament. Main Opposition TDP has supported the bandh call.
