With Aam Admi Party MLAs mounting pressure on it to probe the alleged financial irregularities in BJP-led municipal corporations, Delhi Government is likely to conduct an enquiry against the three civic agencies.
According to a senior government official, the working and finances of civic agencies will be probed.
"There are too many irregularities in the working of municipal corporations, because of which they have even failed to pay salaries to their staff. MLAs have raised the issue to conduct a probe against working and finance of the civic bodies," the official said.

In a statement, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) also asked Delhi government to immediately order a probe into the functioning of the MCD to fix the rot.
Mayors of all the three corporations had last week met Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal seeking financial aid of Rs 302 crore which he refused and asked them to go to the Centre for the money.
"Municipal corporations are seeking financial aid but they have no plan to make it economically viable. Commissioners of civic agencies have twice met the Chief Minister and they were asked to come up with an action plan to turn around their financial condition. But so far no plan has been submitted yet," the official said.
