A six-member investigating team of Kerala police's CID wing today started probe into the illegal migration of 58 young boys who were trafficked to that state from West Bengal's Malda district but later rescued.
"The Kerala police team has arrived and started investigations today", Malda District superintendent of police Prasun Banerjee said here.
The minors who were taken from the villages of Chanchol were taken by two persons on the pretext of giving them education in religious schools in Kerala on May 23.

The boys in the age group of 12-16 were likely to be trafficked to the Gulf countries for using them as camel jockeys, police said.
The Kerala police team will try to unearth whether there are any racket involved in sending children to the state from the district.
