Even as talks with Congress central leadership to find a solution to the issue of Kerala cabinet reshuffle by inducting KPCC Chief Ramesh Chennithala failed to make any head-way, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said he would hold discussions with UDF partners on the matter.

Talking to reporters at the airport here today on his return from Delhi after holding talks with party leadership, Chandy said parleys would be held with UDF partners and later talks would be held in Delhi along with some UDF leaders.

"All issues in Congress will be settled", Chandy said.

Meanwhile, Union Minister of State for Home Mullapally Ramachandran said at Thrissur that Chennithala would join the UDF ministry and Chandy would contine as Chief Minister.

"Chennithala would join the ministry", he said, adding, a final decision would be taken by the party high command.

Union Minister for Food and Civil Supplies K V Thomas said Congress leadership at the Centre and in the state was capable of taking a right decision on the issues.

Cabinet revamp was part of an effort to improve the image of the Congress-led UDF government which was under attack from CPI-M led LDF opposition over the solar panel scam that brought the CM's office under a cloud.
