Proclaimed offender nabbed in north Delhi

Joginder, who works as an electrician, was apprehended from Subzi Mandi area last night during vehicle checking, Sindhu Pillai, Deputy Commissioner of Police (North), said.

He is allegedly involved in 58 cases and is wanted in seven cases. He has been declared a proclaimed offender by a court in a case, Pillai said.

He started committing crime in 1997 and was arrested in 2004 in a robbery-cum-murder case and was in jail for about five years. After release from jail, he again started committing crime, she said, adding Joginder kept changing his address to dodge the police.
