FMCG major Procter & Gamble Health Ltd (PGHL) on Thursday reported a decline of 8.74 per cent in its net profit to Rs 44.08 crore for the second quarter ended June 2019.
It had posted a net profit of Rs 48.30 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal, PGHL said in a regulatory filing.
Its total income during the quarter under review stood at Rs 233.63 crore, up 6.05 per cent, as compared to Rs 220.28 crore in the same period last fiscal.
Its total expenses was at Rs 183.61 crore as against RS 174.34 crore, up 5.31 per cent.
Shares of Procter & Gamble Health Ltd on Thursday settled at Rs 4,617.35 apiece on the BSE, up 0.35 per cent.
