Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Healthcare Ltd today said it has registered a jump of over 73 per cent in net profit at Rs 89.9 crore for the quarter ended June 2014.
The company had reported a net profit of Rs 51.87 crore in the year-ago period.
The company said it has maintained its growth momentum by delivering total sales of Rs 483 crore in the quarter ending June 2014 as against Rs 422 crore in the previous year.
"Both the feminine and health care businesses continued to deliver robust double-digit growth in a competitive market environment behind superior products, strong initiatives and product portfolio strength," the company said in a statement.
