Various raw materials are mixed together in the Banbury unit, which caught fire around 10.30 PM yesterday.
The fire was brought under control by 2 AM. There were no casualties or injuries due to the incident, the company said in a statement.
Alternative arrangements have been made for sourcing the mixed compound and normal production was expected to resume at the facility in the next few days, it said.
The per day capacity of the plant, which manufactures agricultural and industrial tyres, truck and bus tyres is 100 tonnes per day.
