BJP's raking up 'Love Jihad' today came under sharp attack from ruling Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh which said it was not a language of harmony and the saffron party was creating communal tension.

SP national general secretary Naresh Agarwal said BJP should raise issue of "love India and love democracy" instead this issue that could create tension.

"They are talking of Love Jihad. This is not the language harmony. They should talk of Love India and Love democracy instead of creating communal tension," Agwarwal said.

Attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Agarwal said even ministers in his regime are not free to appoint Personal Assistant (PA) of their choice.

"There is no democracy in BJP. Even ministers cannot appoint their PAs. In SP, when a minister skips cabinet meeting, CM himself used to visit his house to know about the reasons," he said.

Agarwal said in politics good and bad days do come while accepting that winning bypolls (12 assembly seats) are a challenge for the party.

On the issue of corruption, Agarwal said politicians are defamed due to corruption of bureaucracy.

In reply to a question, Agarwal alleged that for early elections Rahul Gandhi had got some bad laws passed in the Parliament. He however, did not elaborate.
