"During the review of cases, I found connivance and dereliction of duty on the part of a few policemen in regard to cases against the builder and ordered departmental proceeding against two Sub-Inspectors," Shalin said.
"I have also ordered to move for cancellation of bail of the absconding builder in all previous cases registered in police stations in Patna," he added.
On April 29, a video clipping showed a police team headed by a DSP rank officer helping associates of the builder evict dwellers from a temple on Exhibition Road near Gandhi Maidan police station.
The policemen also assaulted a woman protesting against the eviction which was captured on cameras.
