A 42-year-old property dealer was found dead under mysterious circumstances in the balcony of his house in Outer Delhi's Prashant Vihar here today, police said.

The deceased, identified as Naresh Saini, was found dead with wounds on his chest at around 8 am when a police team reached his residence following a PCR call from his nephew.

"His family claimed that the cut marks on his chest were marks of a liposuction surgery he recently had at a private hospital. They also claimed that he collapsed in the balcony and during his fall, he hit a flower pot stand," said a police official.

Police has detained some of his family members for questioning as Saini's brother has raised suspicion that property dispute could be the motive behind his murder.

Investigators said that the initial autopsy report has suggested that Saini was already dead an hour before the PCR call was made.

A case has been registered at the Prashant Vihar police station and further investigation is underway.
