Gatiman Express, proposed to run between Agra and Delhi, is waiting for the green signal from the Commission of Railway Safety, a senior railway official said.

"Our officers have met Commissioner of Railway safety and we have completed everything as per norms desired by him. Now the train would only run when he approves," GM North Central Railway, Arun Kumar Saxena, said.

Considering the heavy influx of pilgrims, NCR has decided to enhance passenger amenities at Mathura Junction.

"Not only benches would be increased on different platforms, but fans would also be installed. Drinking water facility would also be geared up," he said.

"The illegal vendors operating at Mathura Jn and in different trains between Mathura and Delhi, would be nabbed with the help of CCTV," he added.

"The illegal private bus stand, operating from the railway land on second entry side, would be terminated," he said, adding that the officials would focus towards the cleanliness of stations and its maintenance.
