A 29-year-old lawyer, who was appointed public prosecutor just 10 days ago, today collapsed in the Tis Hazari Courts complex and died on way to the hospital.
Prosecutor Chandra Prakash Meena died of a stroke, doctors told his colleagues.
Meena, who got married two years ago and has an infant daughter, had earlier practiced in Rajasthan courts for some time. He was appointed a public prosecutor in Delhi 10 days ago.

Meena, who was working in the office of chief prosecutor (north district), suddenly collapsed in the gallery as he came out of a court room after attending a case.
Public Prosecutor Atul Shrivastava said when lawyers saw him lying down, they struggled for a few minutes to revive him.
When his condition deteriorated, they took him to Aruna Asaf Ali Government Hospital in the Civil Lines area where he doctors declared him 'brought dead'.
