Protests rocked Ganderbal district headquarter in central Kashmir today following mischief inside a mosque by some unidentified persons.
Residents of Saloora and adjoining areas in Ganderbal took to the streets after word spread about the incident last night.
A police spokesman said two persons behind the incident have been identified.
"A case has been registered and investigation has been started. Initial investigations revealed that two drug addicts of the village were involved in the act," the spokesman said.
