Pop star Lady Gaga has responded to body shamers by saying she is proud of her body.
The 30-year-old music icon took to Instagram, slamming the trolls who had commented upon her appearance during her explosive Super Bowl LI halftime performance.
"I heard my body is a topic of conversation so I wanted to say, I'm proud of my body and you should be proud of yours too," Gaga wrote, alongside a picture of her bombastic show.
She continued, "No matter who you are or what you do. I could give you a million reasons why you don't need to cater to anyone or anything to succeed. Be you, and be relentlessly you. That's the stuff of champions."
The "Bad Romance" songstress further thanked her fans and followers for sticking up for her during this time, by saying, "Thank you so much everyone for supporting me. I love you guys. Xoxo, Gaga.
