MP from Araku Kothappalli Geetha today said she would take all initiatives to provide safe drinking water facility in the constituency.
In a meeting with officials of Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) at Rampachodavaram town in East Godavari district, Geetha said she has given first preference to provide drinking water facilities in the tribal-dominated constituency.
The MP also said that farmers should repay the crop loans, otherwise it would be difficult for them to get loan in the Kharif season.

On issue of daily wages, she said the state government has held discussions to increase daily wage from Rs 148 to Rs 168, but it is yet to issue an order in this regard.
"Steps would be taken to fill vacant posts in Primary Health Centres (PHCs) in the constituency," she said.
