PSBT Open Frame Festival to begin from August 29

The 14th edition of the Open Frame festival organised by the Public Service Broadcasting Trust (PSBT) will be held from August 29 here.

The five-day event will see screening of documentaries, which earlier have been shown and applauded in festivals in India as well as abroad.

The documentaries to be screened during the course of the festival include Pratik Biswas's 'On and Off The Records', about the history of 20th Century Hindustani classical music and 'In Camera' by Ranjan Palit, which chronicles the filmmaker's experiences as a cameraperson for documentary films in the past 25 years.

Malati Rao's 'Handmade In India', 'Qissa-e-Parsi' by Divya Cowasji and Shilpi Gulati, Meera Dewan's Stained Glass', 'Natyanubhava' by Sharada Ramanathan, Sandhya Kumar's 'Memory of A Light', The Forgotten Tigers' by Krishnendu Bose and Sumit Khanna's 'Mere Desh Ki Dharti' also add to the documentary list of the event.
 

The festival has been divided in two parts- Film screening and discussions along with workshops. The event will culminate on September 2.
