This came as the Hyderabad based Public Sector unit, a mini ratna category 1 company, achieved a record turnover of Rs 959 crore during the fiscal year, said a government statement.
The dividend works out to 40.87 per cent of the paid up share capital of Rs 115 crore.
The dividend cheque was presented by Chairman and Managing Director SN Mantha.
The statement said the company is shortly setting up its fourth manufacturing unit at Amravati in Maharashtra and the fifth one at Ibrahimpatnam in Andhra Pradesh to meet the growing demands of the Indian Armed Forces.
