PTC India today posted 15 per cent jump in its standalone net profit at Rs 130.54 crore in the quarter ended September, mainly due to higher revenues.
The company's standalone net profit was Rs 113.08 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2016, PTC India Ltd said in a BSE filing today.
According to a statement, the company's total income rose to Rs 5,414.27 crore in the period under review from Rs 4,151.13 crore in the similar period a year ago.

The company said that the revenue from operations of the company includes sales of electricity and service charges. The revenue from operations in the quarter was Rs 5,210.10 crore as compared to Rs 3,974.76 crore.
During April-September period, its net profit stood at Rs 195.89 crore, up from Rs 169.53 crore a year ago.
