Scores of owners and drivers of autorickshaws, taxis, trucks, buses and gramin sewas today took out a protest rally against the Delhi government over various demands including strict action against app-based taxi services in the national capital.
Protesters, under the banner of United Front of Transport Associations (UFTA), demanded that the Delhi government rein in app-based taxi services as these were "affecting" the livelihood of drivers of autorickshaws and yellow-black taxis and stop issuing permits to such cabs.
They also raised slogans against the Kejriwal government.
