Pulse prices hold steady in thin trade

Steady conditions prevailed at the pulses wholesale market in the national capital today, with prices moving in a narrow range in scattered deals and settling at last levels.

Marketmen said adequate stock position against sporadic demand mainly kept prices at last levels.

Following are today's pulses rates (in Rs per quintal):

Urad Rs 8,400-8,800, Urad Chilka (local) Rs 9,300-9,500, urad best Rs 9,500-10,100, Dhoya Rs 9,900-10,200, Moong Rs 7,200-7,900, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 8,000-8,500, Moong Dhoya local Rs 8,000-8,300 and best quality Rs 8,800-8,900.

Masoor small Rs 6,650-6,850, bold Rs 6,650-6,950, Dal Masoor local Rs 7,750-7,850, best quality Rs 7,850-7,950, Malka local Rs 7,800-8,300, best Rs 8,000-8,300, Moth Rs 6,000-6,300, Arhar Rs 7200-7300, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 8,600-8,900.
 

Gram Rs 4,650-5,400, Gramdal (local) Rs 5,000-5,200, best quality Rs 5,100-5,400, Besan (35 kg), Shakti Bhog Rs 2,200, Rajdhani Rs 2,200, Rajma Chitra Rs 4,600-5,800, Kabuli Gram small Rs 4,700-6,900, Dabra Rs 2,700-2,800, Imported Rs 4,700-5,100, Lobia Rs 5,200-5,600, Peas white Rs 2,875-2,900 and green Rs 2,875-2,975.
