Pulses prices fell up to Rs 200 per quintal at the wholesale market today owing to fall in demand from local parties amid stockists selling.
Marketmen said subdued demand at prevailing levels against adequate stocks position mainly kept pressure on pulses.
In the national capital, kabli gram small variety eased by Rs 200 to Rs 3,600-6,100 per quintal. Moong and its dal chilka local moved down by Rs 200 each to Rs 5,800-6,800 and Rs 6800-7300 per quintal respectively. Moong dal dhoya local and best quality also lost Rs 200 each at Rs 6,700-7,000 and Rs 7,500-7,600 per quintal respectively.
Masoor small and bold fell by Rs 200 each to Rs 5,000-5,200 and Rs 5,000-5,300 per quintal. Its dal local and best quality traded lower by the same margin to Rs 5,800-5,900 and Rs 5,900-6,000 per quintal.
Malka local and best enquired lower by similar margin to Rs 5,700-6,000 and Rs 5,900-6,000 per quintal.
Moth declined by Rs 100 to Rs 4,200-4,500, while arhar and its dal dara variety traded lower by Rs 200 each to Rs 4,300-4,400 and Rs 5,500-5,800 per quintal respectively.
