Pulses end steady in thin trading

Steady conditions prevailed at the wholesale pulses market today as prices by and large moved in a narrow range in restricted activity at prevailing levels and settled at the last levels.

Traders said improved supplies in the market after the government took steps to curb rising prices and sporadic demand from retailers, kept prices almost flat.

Following are today's pulses rates (in Rs per quintal):

Urad Rs 10,100-11,600, Urad Chilka (local) Rs 10,400-10,500, Urad best Rs 10,500-11,000, Dhoya Rs 10,900-11,200, Moong Rs 5,500-6,100, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 6,050-6,450, Moong Dhoya local Rs 6,450-6,950 and best quality Rs 6,950-7,150.

Masoor small Rs 6,150-6,450, bold Rs 6,200-6,500, Dal Masoor local Rs 6,650-7,150, best quality Rs 6,750-7,250, Malka local Rs 7,250-7,550, best Rs 7,350-7,650, Moth Rs 5,300-5,700, Arhar Rs 8,500, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 11,300-13,000.
 

Gram Rs 8,800-9,300, Gram dal (local) Rs 9,000-9,200, best quality Rs 9,300-9,400, Besan (35 kg), Shakti Bhog Rs 3,900,Rajdhani Rs 3,900, Rajma Chitra Rs 5,700-6,950, Kabuli Gram small Rs 10,000-10,500, Dabra Rs 2,700-2,800, Imported Rs 4,700-5,100, Lobia Rs 5,400-5,600, Peas white Rs 3,800-3,825 and green Rs 4,000-4,100.
