The wholesale pulses market ended on a mixed note today as select prices edged up on scattered demand from retailers, while a few other remained weak on adequate stocks position.
Marketmen said some demand from retailers against restricted supplies from producing regions mainly led to the rise in select pulses prices.
They said, however, lack of buying support at prevailing levels kept pressure on other prices.

Rajmah chitra, kabli gram small variety also moved up by Rs 50 each to Rs 5,000-6,300 and Rs 5,250-7,250 per quintal.
Masoor small and bold too ended higher by Rs 50 each to Rs 4,800-5,050 and Rs 4,850-5,100 per quintal, respectively.
Its dal local and best quality traded higher by a similar margin to Rs 5,550-6,050 and Rs 5,650-6,150 per quintal.
On the other hand, arhar and its dal dara variety declined by Rs 100 each to Rs 7,300 and Rs 10,500-12,200 per quintal, respectively.
Urad and its dal chilka local moved down by Rs 100 each to Rs 8,900-11,200 and Rs 9,700-9,900 per quintal. Its dal best quality and dhoya enquired lower by a similar margin to Rs 9,800-10,400 and Rs 10,200-10,600 per quintal.
Moong and its dal chilka local also drifted by Rs 100 each to 6,900-7,450 and Rs 7,350-7,750 per quintal. Its dal dhoya local and best quality traded lower by a similar margin to Rs 7,750-8,250 and Rs 8,250-8,450 per quintal, respectively.
