Pulses prices steady in thin trade

Steady conditions prevailed at the wholesale market today as most of commodity prices moved in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.

Marketmen said adequate stocks position against sporadic demand mainly kept pulses steady.

Following are today's pulses rates per quintal:

Urad 5,200-5,700, Urad Chilka (local) 6,450-6,650, best 6,700-7,300, Dhoya 6,950-7,350, Moong 5,500-6,800, Dal Moong Chilka local 6,750-7,250, Moong Dhoya local 6,650-6,950 and best quality 7,450-7,550.

Masoor small 5,150-5,350, bold 5,150-5,450, Dal Masoor local 5,900-6,000, best quality 6,000-6,100, Malka local 5,700-6,000, best 5,900-6,000, Moth 4,100-4,400, Arhar 4,200-4,350, Dal Arhar Dara 5,500-5,800.

Gram 2,750-3,450, Gram Dal (local) 3,500-3,700, best quality 3,600-3,700, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,340, Rajdhani 1,340, Rajmah Chitra 5,000-8,500, Kabli Gram small 3,800-6,400, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100, Lobia 4,200-5,800. Peas white 2,900-2,950 and green 2,900-3,050.
