Pune rope in Chillar, Thakur for Pro-Kabaddi Season 3

Pro Kabaddi League franchise team Puneri Paltan has roped in last season's Most Valuable Player, Manjeet Chillar, along with his Bengaluru Bulls teammate Ajay Thakur, for season 3 of the tournament commencing in January, 2016.

The team, that finished eighth and last in Season 2 held in July-August, has strategically added new players with a mix of top raiders and defendants, said a media release.

Other top players like Deepak Hooda from Telugu Titans and Prashant Chavan from Jaipur Pink Panthers would also represent Pune.

The team has also retained its key players Yogesh Hooda, Tushar Patil and Ravi Kumar, among others, from second season.
 

Young and talented players such as Ravinder Kumar, Ramkumar and Nilesh Salunkhe who would play in Pune colours, the release added.
