Search engine giant Google today selected Pune resident Vaidehi Reddy as the winner of its Doodle4Google contest for this year.
Google India will feature the Doodle on its homepage on Children's Day on November 14.
The national contest was held across 50 cities and 1,700 schools. Launched in 2009, the contest this year was themed 'A place in India I wish to visit'.

Mahindra Comviva, Airtel partner for mobile fin services * Mobility solutions provider Mahindra Comviva today said it has enabled the world's first domestic interoperable mobile financial service between Airtel Money and Tigo Pesa in Tanzania.
The service allows customers to send and receive money directly between the mobile money accounts of these two service providers, Mahindra Comviva said in a statement.
The service simplifies off-net money transfers and enables recipients to transact through the convenience of their own mobile phone without cashing out, it added.
Tanzania is one of the fastest growing mobile markets and has witnessed exponential growth in the use of mobile money services.

Kapil Dev launches social gamified platform SloPho * After a successful stint in cricket, Kapil Dev has now started a business venture 'SloPho' that will offer consumers and corporates a social networking platform in a "gamified" model.
Similar to Facebook, SloPho will allows users to express themselves through texts, pictures and videos. However, it will also allow users to win prizes daily by participating in games, contests, polls and quizzes.
In the first 12 months, the company is targetting 5-6 million users.

Mercedes showcases latest products at IT,ICT event * Mercedes-Benz India Limited (MBIL) and Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI) today jointly showcased at the CeBIT Bangalore, an IT and ICT event, its latest products within the Mercedes-Benz passenger car range available in India.
Examples of their captive research, development and IT-engineering activities in India were also presented at the ongoing three-day CeBIT, billed as the world's largest business IT and ICT event.
