Thirteen officers were caught red-handed by sleuths of Punjab Vigilance while allegedly accepting bribes in separate cases in the month of July.
"The Punjab Vigilance Bureau in July has successfully nabbed 13 officers red-handed while accepting bribe," an official spokesperson said here today.
Besides, fresh vigilance inquiries have been initiated in 13 other cases, he said.
All these officers were booked under the Prevention of Corruption Act 1988, the spokesperson added.
