The BJP state unit today hit out the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for his "below standard" comments against Prime Minister and Finance Minister after the CBI raided office of his Principal Secretary.
Punjab BJP Kamal Sharma said the Delhi Chief Minister has "lost" his mental balance and should first get himself treated in a good hospital before making derogatory remarks against PM Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.
In a statement here, Sharma demanded "unconditional apology" from Kejriwal and alleged the Delhi CM was doing all this "drama" to "cover up" his own failure to punish a "corrupt" IAS officer and fulfil promises to people.
"Kejriwal's statement that the reason behind CBI raids on his Principal Secretary was to take over files pertaining to alleged corruption in the Jaitely-led Delhi District Cricket Association is not less than a joke," he said.
Carrying out probe in the affair of the DDCA falls under the jurisdiction of the Central government, he said.
"If he has the guts, Kejriwal must clarify which file he is talking about," said Sharma.
"On one side you are talking about ending corruption and on the other you are shielding an IAS officer who is facing serious cases of bribe. Isn't it a expose of your personality and party?" the state BJP president questioned.
He said such acts of the AAP chief has already exposed him before the public and people call him a "drama-master", who wants to be in news by creating controversy.
He said that the PM and FM are top representatives of an elected government and Kejriwal's "below standard" comments were big insult to the people of the country who have reposed faith by electing Modi as their Prime Minister.
After the CBI raid at the Delhi secretariat yesterday, Chief Minister Kejriwal had attacked Prime Minister Modi calling him a "psychopath" and "coward".
The CM had also alleged searches were conducted because files pertaining to alleged corruption in DDCA involving Arun Jaitley is with the Delhi CMO.

Meanwhile, Punjab minister Bikram Singh Majitha also lashed out at Congress for its announcement to burn 'Chitta Ravan' during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit in Ludhiana on October 18.
Majitha said Congress party is "totally confused" after realizing that the credibility of Punjab Congress Chief Captain Amarinder Singh is "eroding at very fast pace".
He said such kind of "negative propaganda" of Congress would prove to be counter-productive and it would be totally wiped out from the political scene of Punjab in the upcoming assembly elections.
Majithia, who was in Majitha to disburse the welfare grant amounting to Rs 65 lakh and inaugurate welfare works in the villages Viram and Wadala, said that the strategy of "negative politics" of the Congress would prove to be a "death knell in the drowning Congress ship".
