The Punjab Cabinet in its meeting under chairmanship of Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal recalled the "outstanding contribution" of Dara Singh in making Punjabi Cinema popular.
A two-minute silence was also observed as a mark of respect to the deceased, an official spokesman said here.
