Punjab Chief Electoral Officer V K Singh today reviewed the modification of the electoral rolls in view of the upcoming parliamentary polls.
At a meeting with all Deputy Commissioners-cum-District Election Officers and Assistant Returning Officers via video-conference, Singh also reviewed the preparedness of the state machinery for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, an official release said here today.
During the meeting, the working of EVMs, vacant post of assistant returning officers, appointment of polling staff and the constitution of various committees were discussed.
