Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal today said the state is an "absolute gainer" owing to the BJP-led government at the centre resulting in receiving adequate grants for development-centric projects.

At Sangat Darshan programme at Patiala-2 (Rural) constituency, the Deputy Chief Minister said that earlier Punjab used to get a lesser share from the central funds, but with BJP led-NDA government assuming reins at the Centre, the state has started receiving its share from central funds, and in the future too it would receive more funds from the central pool for developmental projects.
