Punjab government today instructed all its departments to fill three per cent quota for visually impaired persons in all category of posts.
Government has issued instructions asking heads of all the departments to furnish details regarding filling up of these posts in compliance of the Supreme Court directive in this regard, an official statement said.
Instruction have been issued to Divisional Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, Registrar Punjab and Haryana High Court, District Sessions Judge, Chairman Punjab Public Service Commission, Chairmen Boards and Corporations and Registrar all the Universities and educational institutes, it said.
