The changed timings, however, would not be applicable to government offices located in Chandigarh, an official spokesman said here.
Timings of all offices of the Corporation and the Board had also been changed, he said.
The new timings would be from 8 a.M. To 2 p.M, he said adding the government took the step in view of acute shortage of power due to deficient rainfall.
The order would be applicable for a month from August one, the spokesman said.
