Punjab govt delaying thermal power plant project: PSPCL

PSEB Engineers' Association have been demanding that the state government should award the development of 1320 MW of power plant project to PSPCL. But despite repeated assurances, the state government has not initiated required steps in this regard, PSPCL president Baldev Singh Sran said.

Sran pointed out that the construction of power plants awarded to private sector were running far behind their schedule.

He demanded that the Punjab government should award the contract for any new power plant to PSPCL.
