Taking note of the growing absence of government officials during public meeting hours, Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal has directed them to remain available in their respective offices from 12 to 1 PM.
The government officers have been directed to remain available on all working days in their offices from 12 to 1 PM to meet the public including the elected representatives so that people were not harassed and work could be executed well in time, an official spokesman said.
It has also been directed that no other meeting should be conducted during this time, he added.
