Punjab government today announced a hike in the Dearness Allowance to 113 per cent to its employees effective from January 1, 2015, state Finance Minister said.
With this rise of 6 percent, the rate of DA would enhance to 113 percent of basic pay/pension from earlier rate of 107 percent, Finance Minister Parminder Singh Dhindsa said.
Giving details about the arrears, Dhindsa said arrears of 6 per cent enhancement due from January 1 to July 31, 2015 would be paid with the salary of October 2015.
Six per cent hike in DA that was due from January 2015 would be paid to employees in cash with the salary/pension of August 2015, an official spokesman said.
