The Punjab government today nominated new chairmen, vice chairmen and members in the eight market committees of Rupnagar and SAS Nagar (Mohali) districts.
Disclosing this here, an official spokesperson said Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal cleared the file to this effect.
He said that Badal had issued orders regarding the nomination of chairmen, vice chairmen and members of market Committees Kurali, Kharar, Dera Bassi, Banur, Lalru in SAS Nagar (Mohali) and Rupnagar, Sri Anandpur Sahib and Chamkaur Sahib in Rupnagar districts.
