The retiring employees have also been instructed to complete provident fund payment formalities three months before their due retirement.
According to instructions issued, an official spokesman of the General Administration Department today informed that it has been found that most of the official/officers have not submitted the requisite documents in the concerned branches of their offices of the department regarding their GPF accounts, which create problems during last payment to the employees.
He said that employees have been asked to collect the GPF statements of the year 2011-12 from concerned branch at the earliest.
The spokesman said that these GPF statements were based on the monthly deduction from the salary and balance of dearness allowance of the employees.
Any claim of wrong or missing entry regarding these statements could be submitted before the branch with full supporting documents, he added.
