The free stenography training would be given by the languages department through its district-level training centers, Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Welfare Minister Gulzar Singh Ranike said here today.
He said that students from Chandigarh would get training at the centre of language department set up in Mohali.
Interested candidates can send or submit their detailed applications with the District Language Officer or Assistant Director Language Department, Punjab by August 27.
Ranike said that the candidate should be a resident of Punjab and belong to the Scheduled Castes category.
He said that priority would be given to candidates from below poverty line families.
