Punjab government will organise a 45-day training programme for dairy farmers in the state from May 26 to make them aware of latest technological development in the sector.
The training programme would commence from May 26 in the dairy training centers of Bija, Chitamali, Gill, Abul Khurana and Verka, Punjab Animal Husbandry minister Gulzar Singh Ranike said in a statement.
Ranike said the objective of this programme is to keep farmers abreast of latest technological development in dairy sector.
Inderjeet Singh, Director, Dairy Development Punjab said experts from Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animals Sciences University (Ludhiana), Dairy Research Organization (Karnal) and Dairy Development Department, Punjab would impart education regarding breed improving, composition of milk products, balanced feed management and look after of milch animals.
