The Punjab Government today issued transfer and posting orders of 12 IAS and five PCS officers with immediate effect.
Among the IAS officers who have been transferred are Ajoy Sharma, Special Principal Secretary (PS) to Chief Minister and Special Secretary, Education, who has been transferred and posted as Special PS to CM and as Special Secretary, Water Supply and Sanitation in place of Dharam Pal.
Arun Sekhri, Additional Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Punjab, has been posted as Additional Registrar, Cooperative Societies and Special Secretary, Power, against a vacant post, an official release said here this evening.
Pradeep Aggarwal, Director General, School Education, Punjab, has been shifted as DG, School Education, Punjab, and Additional Secretary, School Education, against a vacant post.
Among the PCS officers who have been shuffled are Pritpal Singh, Deputy Secretary, Water Supply and Sanitation who now becomes Land Acquisition Collector, Industries and Commerce, against a vacant post.
