Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh and his Haryana counterpart Manohar Lal Khattar today expressed grief over the demise of Ramesh Chandra Agrawal, Chairman of Dainik Bhaskar Group.
Amarinder said the media magnate's death has left a void in the media industry.
"Agrawal was a courageous professional who had been at the helm of many impactful media initiatives in Punjab," the Chief Minister said in his condolence message.

"His demise is a big loss to the entire media industry," he said.
Both Amarinder and Khattar conveyed their heartfelt sympathies to the members of the bereaved family.
Agrawal, Chairman of the country's leading publication house Dainik Bhaskar Group, died following a heart attack upon his arrival at Ahmedabad airport today. He was 73.
