He said that he had carried forward the concept of Sangat Darshan of Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal for industrialist and entrepreneurs and decided to organise the meet every week in cities where industry was concentrated.
The Minister said most of the complaints he received during sangat darshans pertained to power connections, pollution certificates, upkeep of focal points and he was happy that he was able to solve 90 per cent complaints at Amritsar, Jalandhar and Ludhiana on the spot.
He said he had already issued instructions to computerise the industry department and with the starting of web portal most problems being raised by industrialists would be addressed online.
