Punjab Congress MPs will meet the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UPA chief Sonia Gandhi to seek a probe by the Narcotic Control Bureau (NCB) into the recently busted drug racket.

Reiterating his allegation that SAD leaders and some police officers were directly involved in the racket, state party chief Partap Singh Bajwa today said they were going to seek Centre's intervention in the case.

Addressing public meeting, Bajwa slammed the SAD-BJP government and said its leaders, involved in the racket and other criminal and corruption cases, were campaigning in Delhi for the December 4 elections there.

Taking a dig at SAD-BJP alliance, which was fighting elections in Delhi, he said SAD would "score a big zero" in the national capital and BJP would suffer heavily due to Akali leaders with criminal background.

He said Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Delhi had also damaged the prospects of both the parties.

He said BJP and Modi had anti-minority mindset and no minority community could trust BJP leaders.

Hinting at a favourable verdict for Congress, Bajwa said the people of Delhi are wise enough to elect a development-oriented, secular and peace loving party.

Lashing out at the state government for allegedly ignoring border areas in matter of development, Bajwa said unemployment and poverty was on rise in the border districts.

Claiming that he was working hard to bring a special package for setting up industry in border districts, the PPCC chief said SAD-BJP government had not supported his move.
