Punjab today offered assistance to the Jammu and Kashmir youth desirous of pursuing education and jobs in the neighbouring state.
"J&K Youth have greater opportunity of pursuing education and jobs in Punjab... The government of Punjab would extend full help to the youth of Jammu and Kashmir in this regard," a delegation of the Committee on Public Accounts of Punjab Legislative Assembly told Chief Minister Omar Abdullah here.
The committee members, on a study tour of Jammu and Kashmir, today called on Omar and held detailed discussion on employability and skill development of youth along with enhancing the orbit of their job market, an official spokesman said.

The delegation briefed Omar about their visit and showed interest in the initiatives and measures his government has taken in various sectors of development, he said.
