The Minister asked the concerned department to immediately shift all the instructors who were posted in those ITIs where their trade was non-existent.
He ordered that an instructor be posted only in that ITI in which the trade of his specialisation was being taught.
If the trade of his specialisation was not being taught in that ITI he would be shifted to an ITI where that trade was taught, he said.
The Minister also said that instructors would not be allowed to enjoy pay and perks without teaching a single day in an ITI.
Joshi further ordered rotation of administrative staff at the headquarters who were in a particular seat for more than one year.
Emphasising the need for introducing trades according to the requirement of the upcoming industry, the Minister said, instructions had been issued to phase out obsolete ones and introduce fresh trades accordingly to increase the employability of students.
