Ranike's PA Sarbhdyal Singh has been accused of opening a number of dummy bank accounts in 2011 in the name of dummy sarpanches (village headmen) and later the amount to the tune of Rs 1.15 crore was encashed by the PA.
The main opposition Congress has been pressing for dismissal of Ranike, who represents the Attari assembly constituency, from the state cabinet.
